Kickoff times have been announced for four of Oklahoma’s games in 2023, including against TCU the day after Thanksgiving.

Here are the four games that were announced:

  • Sept. 2 vs Arkansas State on ESPN at 11 a.m.
  • Sept. 9 vs SMU on ESPN+ at 5 p.m.
  • Sept. 16 at Tulsa on ESPN or ESPN2 at 2:30 p.m.
  • Nov. 24 vs TCU on FOX at 11 a.m.

The times and networks for the rest of Oklahoma’s schedule will be announced at a later time. For the Sooners, their first three games will all be on ESPN with the home and season opener against Arkansas State taking place at 11 a.m. And their first night game of the season will take place in Week 2 against SMU.

But the highlight of Wednesday’s schedule release is the TCU game taking place at 11 a.m. on the Friday after Thanksgiving. And many thought that game would take place at night being that it’s Oklahoma’s season finale and it being on a Friday. Instead, Oklahoma will be on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff.

The only other game that has been announced is against Texas at the Cotton Bowl, which will be on ABC. The time has not been announced for the game, but it’s expected to be at 11 a.m. as it has been since 2017.
