Duck fans got some great recruiting news on Turkey Day as Rivals Industry 5-star Baltimore (Md.) Georgetown Preparatory School offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho shut down his recruitment.

“The grass is damn green in Eugene!” Iheanacho told Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett of his decision.

“SCO! No need to entertain anyone else,” he added in a social media post on X.

Listed at 6’7″, 380 pounds, Iheanacho checks in as the No. 15 prospect nationally, the No. 3 offensive tackle and the No. 2 prospect in Maryland according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. He picked Oregon his summer from a top group that also included LSU, Penn State, Auburn and Maryland.

“It was a very tough decision because so many different schools had my attention, but the small things added up and led me to Oregon,” Iheanacho told Rivals’ Chad Simmons after his July decision. “I got on campus three times, I got to know the coaches, my parents saw the area and I knew it was is the right fit.”

The mammoth offensive lineman tabbed the Ducks as his leader back in the spring and that never changed during his official visit process. He sees his home in Eugene and will sign with Oregon on December 3 despite continued pushes from LSU and in-state Maryland.

“Since I visited in the spring, I had Oregon on top and it never changed,” he told Rivals. “LSU was great. I had a good time at Penn State and I like he coaches there. What made the most sense for me though, was Oregon. It felt different. The fit is right. I love the people. The program is what I need.”

Iheanacho is one of three offensive linemen committed to A’lique Terry and the Ducks in a 2026 recruiting class that ranks No. 4 nationally along with 4-star San Francisco (Calif.) Archbishop Riordan offenisve lineman Tommy Tofi and 3-star Honolulu (HI) Farrington offensive lineman Koloi Keli.

The top-15 talent plans to enroll at Oregon in the spring and is one of five 5-star recruits in Lanning’s latest haul of elite high school prospects.
