Oregon is continuing to bolster its special teams’ personnel.

After adding two punters earlier this week, the Ducks have added a proven kicker. Alex Bales, who spent the past three seasons at Cincinnatti, announced Friday morning that he has committed to Oregon.

As a third-year sophomore last season, Bales started a handful of games at placekicker late in the year for a Bearcats program that reached the College Football Playoff. He handled kickoff duty all season.

Bales was 2-for-5 on field-goal attempts with a season-long of 52 and 12-of-13 on PAT attempts.

At Oregon, Bales will be competing with returning starter Camden Lewis for reps. This spring, Lewis was the only kicker listed on Oregon’s roster after Henry Katleman hit the transfer portal in December.
