Another Oregon softball contributor is reportedly on the move.

Gabby Herrera, a reserve outfielder who played in 33 games and started 13 for the Ducks in 2022, has entered the transfer portal according to a report from James Crepea of The Oregonian/OregonLive.

A sophomore from Linden, Calif., Herrera made an impact off the bench for the Ducks this season and hit .282 with three doubles, two homers, and five RBIs in 39 at-bats.

Although it came in a small sample size, Herrera’s OPS of 1.008 was the best on the team.

Herrera becomes the fourth Duck in the past two days to hit the transfer portal.

On Thursday, pitcher Makenna Kliethermes entered the portal, as did shortstop Jasmine Williams. On Friday, third baseman Rachel Cid announced she has entered the portal.
