The first viewer wants to discuss bowl practice. Fans are always told that these extra practices are critical for player development. So which players, or more interestingly, positions, stand the most to gain from the extra practice time? Fitz and T-Frank take different roads in discussing this idea.

Another topic of conversation on the show stems from Penn State’s recruitment of receivers in the transfer portal. While it’s clear that they’re prioritizing the position in the portal, are there any young players that can break out and support whichever players they bring in? Is there a breakout candidate in the group? Fitz and T-Frank discuss who those players might be.

One listener wants to know the odds of seeing Drew Allar in the Rose Bowl, while another isn’t waiting around and wants to know what the depth chart for next season will look like on the offensive line. Fitz has some illuminating facts to share about how Penn State head coach James Franklin has historically handled his senior quarterbacks in their last games. Then he gives his projected two-deep on the offensive line.

What’s the two-deep at o-line for next year look like?

After that, T-Frank follows up with another question about the offensive line. Is four-star commit Alex Birchmeier advanced enough to play early in his career at center? That position is typically reserved for a more mature player, but his profile as a technically advanced prospect opens the idea. Fitz and T-Frank discuss where he could contribute if he is ready to play next fall.

Other topics, such as Penn State’s national championship window, Big Ten expansion, and Utah’s offensive prowess, also make the cut. Check out the show for the full conversation.
