Penn State receivers coach Marques Hagans met with the media for the first time yesterday in the Beaver Stadium media room. Check out his full comments below. If you haven’t yet, subscribe to Blue White Illustrated on YouTube, so you never miss press conferences or breaking news.

Hagans has links to the Penn State coaching staff with former Virginia safety and current safeties coach Anthony Poindexter. He talked about his relationship with “Dex” and how his career has mirrored his former coach’s track.

Hagans discussed his time in Virginia and why this was the right moment to move on to a new destination at Penn State after a lengthy career in one place. Relationships were another major theme with Hagans. He discussed his philosophy on coaching, building bonds with players, and finding a way to reach each player he recruits and coaches.
