On Tuesday afternoon, Penn State landed a massive commitment when they secured four-star defensive end Tomarrion TJ Parker from Phenix City, AL. The 71st player in the country, according to the On3 internal rankings, chose Penn State over Florida and a host of other southern schools. The Penn State defensive staff, including John Scott Jr, Alan Zemaitis, Terry Smith, and Deon Barnes, did a phenomenal job securing Parker's commitment. Not only is Parker a top-flight prospect, but he was also one of the last priority players left at defensive end in this cycle. So getting his to Penn State is not just an upset but eliminates the possibility of missing. We'll understand why he's such a great player in T-Frank's Film Room.
