Penn State football is one step closer to the Blue-White game.

The Nittany Lions held their 11th of 15 spring practices on Wednesday night outside of Holuba Hall. Just a few days of drills remain before the team takes the field for an intrasquad scrimmage on April 23 at Beaver Stadium. It starts at 2 p.m. and will air on Big Ten Network.

It’s possible that the event could look different than it usually has, however. That’s because of depth issues along the offensive line.

“I want to make it as game-like as I possibly can,” Franklin said. “But it’s hard to say right now. As the game gets closer, we’ll have some scrimmage aspect — whether it’s a two-sideline game like we’ve done in the past, I’m not sure.”

Regardless of how it plays out, it will be here before we know it. Until then, however, it’s time to take a look at another batch of BWI photos from the practice field.
