Penn State rebound or letdown?
The loss to Ohio State a week ago sent part of the Penn State fanbase into an angry frenzy. It’s something that Penn State head coach James Franklin says he’s tried to shield his players from this week.
“We got to make sure that one loss doesn’t turn into two, and that’s controlling the things we can in our building and flushing it. Although whether it’s on campus or in the community or social media, that makes it more challenging specifically for our players to do that. We got to make sure we moved on.”
We’ll discuss the realities of “letdown games.” Is it possible for the team to come out flat during a White Out in primetime? Tengwall will give his thoughts as we discuss the topic.

Key matchups for the White Out 2024
Washington travels to Penn State with a strong ground game and a team steeped in NFL principles. We’ll discuss which players, schemes, and matchups will be critical on both sides of the ball. During the show’s second segment, Tengwall will give his key matchup for the upcoming game, and then we’ll discuss the offense.
Of course, Penn State’s scoring unit is under fire this week for only scoring six points against Ohio State in the team’s biggest game of the year. It continues a recent trend for the Nittany Lions to beat up on lesser teams but not show up in the biggest moments. How does the team fix that? And what are the troubles with the offense overall? We’ll dive into all of those topics during the duration of the show.
Next, we’ll discuss the defense and how it needs to play to shut down the Washington offense. Finally, we’ll review the Big Ten schedule for this weekend and give our score predictions and X-factors.
