Penn State football enters spring break with the rest of the university, which means football is just around the corner. With that in mind, the BWI Live show continues its breakdown of the 2022 spring football roster.

Before that, host Thomas Frank Carr, reporter Dave Eckert and recruiting insider Ryan Snyder discuss the NFL Combine. Snyder is filling in for senior editor Nate Bauer, who is on vacation this week. The trio will discuss what stood out to them about the combine as an event and then how Penn State’s prospects performed at it.

Next, they’ll dive into their thoughts about spring football. Last week the show discussed the offensive side of the ball, so they’ll focus on the defense this week. Who do they want to know more about at the defensive end position? What about at linebacker? Penn State is going after those positions hard in the transfer portal, so what should Penn State fans know about the players currently on the roster? Eckert, Snyder, and T-Frank will give their picks for each position on defense.

So who will follow suit and find themselves on national watch lists for the fall? Each panelist will give their answer and their reasons why. After that, voting will open up in the chat about which one gave the best answer. The winner gets 30 seconds to gloat at the end of the show.
Lastly, they’ll look at other sports to conclude the show. Penn State basketball went on a losing streak to end the regular season and found themselves in the first round of the Big Ten tournament. What happened, and what will happen next? Also, it’s a quiet week in recruiting, but Snyder will give a recap of what to expect in March.
