Another week, another dominating performance from the Penn State defense. Defensive coordinator Manny Diaz’s squad dropped the hammer on Rutgers this weekend, winning 55-10 and scoring two defensive touchdowns on the way. Yet it wasn’t smooth sailing the entire game. Rutgers shot out to an early lead thanks to miscues and a positive game plan for the Scarlet Knights. First, we’ll dissect what they were doing early and how Penn State adjusted.
