Penn State offense: Stock Up

Penn State’s offense hasn’t been lights-out but several players have taken a significant step forward during the first month of the 2022 season. T-Frank starts his list with an unlikely pair of players that many fans might think should be higher. See why he has Nick Singleton, and Kaytron Allen listed fifth.

Next, he heads to the offensive line for a player that has changed the way that Penn State runs the football, thanks to his effectiveness in specific situations. While this player isn’t playing the best football among the starting offensive linemen, his presence is essential for the success of the running game’s health.

While T-Frank focused on the running game to start, the rest of the offensive players will be passing game contributors, starting with number three. Check out the show to see which player has exceeded the high expectations from the offseason to land on the list.

The second player on the list shouldn’t surprise fans who have been hoping to see him play for over a year.

Finally, T-Frank highlights the breakout player of the Penn State offense through the first month of the season, the freshmen excluded. This player has finally realized his abilities on offense and has played a pivotal role in several wins this year.

Defenders whose stock is rising

After discussing the players whose stock has gone down, T-Frank switches to the defense.

He starts with another freshman who is making an impact for the Nittany Lions now that his exceptional talents are beginning to shine through.

From there, he highlights Penn State linebacker Abdul Carter. The freshman didn’t have the same expectations in the preseason as his classmates at running back, but T-Frank has a different reason for keeping him lower on the list.

Next, T-Frank transitions to the secondary to highlight one player who has been making splash plays for the Nittany Lions routinely this year. From there, he targets an entire position.

Lastly, T-Frank highlights the breakout player of the defense and the entire team. Check out the show to find out which player that is.
