Following two drives that totaled just 17 yards, as well as a field goal for the Scarlet Knights, Penn State’s special teams got the scoring started with a 100-yard return by freshman running back Nick Singleton midway through the first quarter.

Rutgers responded with a long return of their own that led to a touchdown, but that would be it for Greg Schiano’s team. Linebacker Kobe King was there to take advantage of it, scooping a scoring from 14 yards out.

The Nittany Lions never looked back from there, scoring five more touchdowns and two field goals.
