Another day, another de-commitment for Purdue. This time, it’s 2025 ILB Kimar Nelson who is stepping away from the Boilermakers’ quickly dwindling recruiting class. He took a visit to N.C. State earlier this month and earned an offer.

Nelson, who committed to Purdue on November 4, is the seventh member of the 2025 class to step away from his pledge. Yesterday, ILB Grant Beerman flipped to Illinois and OL Kuol Kuol committed to Iowa State.

Earlier, Purdue saw DL Drayden Pavey (Wisconsin commit); WR Lebron Hill (Vanderbilt), OL Takhyian Whitset (N.C. State) de-commit. CB Dawayne Galloway has de-committed but not chosen a school.

Purdue’s 2025 class is down to nine commitments. The early signing period starts Dec. 4.
