Purdue continues to augment its roster, landing a commitment from Indiana Wesleyan offensive line graduate transfer Ben Farrell on Monday.

The 6-4, 299-pound Grand Rapids, Mich., native, who played for NorthPointe Christian High, will be a sixth-year player and is Purdue’s second portal addition along the o-line, joining Bowling Green’s Jalen Grant.

A left tackle, Farrell was 2022 All-Mid-States Football Association Mideast first-team for Indiana Wesleyan, a NAIA school located in Marion, Ind. He began his career at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids playing golf.

Farrell is Purdue’s sixth addition via the transfer portal. He will join the Boilermakers at the end of the spring semester.

Purdue begins spring ball on March 21.
