Gamecocks in the NFL: Week 10 recap

Week 10 wrapped up the NFL’s trade deadline week on Monday night as many Gamecocks around the league found themselves still in their same spot they were in before Tuesday’s deadline a week ago.

Meanwhile, Israel Mukuamu found himself back on the Panthers’ practice squad while other former Gamecocks performed season-high performances.

Here’s a look at how everyone did and where everyone stands after Tuesday, Oct. 4’s deadline.

AFC West

Kyle Kennard – EDGE/outside linebacker, Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers placed Kennard on their Week 10 inactive list for Sunday Night Football against the Steelers.

Tonka Hemingway – Defensive tackle, Las Vegas Raiders

Hemingway played a season-high 19 snaps on Thursday night after returning from a weeks-long visit to the inactive list. He recorded one tackle in his first appearance in a month

Nate Adkins – Tight end, Denver Broncos

Adkins missed Thursday’s game with a knee injury.

Nick Gargiulo – Guard, Denver Broncos

Gargiulo remains on the IR after tearing his ACL in the preseason.

Adam Prentice – Fullback, Denver Broncos

Prentice made one reception for 13 yards on Thursday night against the Raiders.

Zacch Pickens – Defensive end, Kansas City Chiefs

Pickens remains on the Chiefs’ practice squad. 

AFC East

TJ Sanders – Defensive tackle, Buffalo Bills

Sanders remains on the Bills’ IR in Week 10.

Alex Huntley – Defensive tackle, Miami Dolphins

Huntley remains on the Dolphins’ practice squad.

Marcellas Dial – Defensive back, New England Patriots

Dial is sidelined with a torn ACL and will not return in 2025.

AFC North

Raheim “Rocket” Sanders – Running back, Cleveland Browns

Sanders was inactive for the Browns in Week 10.

Demetrius Knight II – Linebacker, Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals were on a bye in Week 10.

AFC South

Chris Lammons – Cornerback, Indianapolis Colts

Lammons’ struggles from Week 9 continued into Week 10 as the defensive back failed to record a stat in Berlin.

NFC South

Jovaughn Gwyn – Center, Atlanta Falcons

Gwyn did not feature in the Falcons’ Sunday game.

Joshua Simon – Tight end, Atlanta Falcons

Simon remains on the Falcons’ practice squad.

Jaycee Horn – Cornerback, Carolina Panthers

Horn recorded four tackles in the loss to the Saints on Sunday afternoon.

Xavier Legette – Wide receiver, Carolina Panthers

Leggette failed to record a catch for the first time this season in Week 10.

DJ Wonnum – Outside linebacker, Carolina Panthers

Wonnum picked up six tackles in the loss to the Saints after a difficult Week 9.

Rico Dowdle – Running back, Carolina Panthers

Dowdle only had 53 rushing yards in the loss to the Saints. His 2.9 yards per carry was his second-worst of the season.

Bam Martin-Scott – Inside linebacker, Carolina Panthers

Martin-Scott assisted on a tackle in the loss to New Orleans.

Israel Mukuamu – Defensive back, Carolina Panthers

Mukuamu rejoined the Panthers’ practice squad following the trade deadline after being removed on Oct. 7.

Spencer Rattler – Quarterback, New Orleans Saints

Rattler remained on the bench in Week 10 for the Saints.

Torricelli Simpkins III – Guard/Center, New Orleans Saints

Simpkins III was a healthy scratch for the Saints on Sunday.

Kai Kroeger – Punter, New Orleans Saints

Kroeger downed a season-high three punts inside the 20 on Sunday. He also had a season-high average of 44.3 yards per punt in the win over the Panthers

NFC North

Keisean Nixon – Cornerback, Green Bay Packers

Nixon picked up four tackles and a pass deflection in a defensive battle against the Eagles on Monday night. He also made a fumble recovery in the 10-7 loss.

Kingsley Enagbare – Defensive end, Green Bay Packers

Enagbare got a single pressure on Jalen Hurts on Monday night to go alongside his three tackles.

Vershon Lee – Guard/Center, Minnesota Vikings

Lee remains on the Vikings’ practice squad.

NFC East

Deebo Samuel – Wide receiver, Washington Commanders

Samuel caught four passes for 29 yards on Sunday, with one being an impressive sideline, one-handed grab. The veteran wideout also recorded his first receiving touchdown in over a month against the Lions.

Javon Kinlaw – Defensive tackle, Washington Commanders

Kinlaw picked up two tackles in a controversial day against the Lions. Kinlaw evaded a penalty for “punching” a ref in Sunday’s game.

Darius Rush – Defensive back, Washington Commanders

Rush remains a member of the Commanders’ practice squad.

Dante Miller – Running back, New York Giants

Miller remains on the Giants’ practice squad

Jalen Brooks – Wide receiver, Dallas Cowboys

Brooks remains on the Cowboys’ practice squad.

Jadeveon Clowney – Linebacker, Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys were on a bye in Week 10.

NFC West

Nick Emmanwori – Safety, Seattle Seahawks

Emmanwori picked up a team-high nine tackles before leaving Sunday’s game with a wrist injury in the fourth quarter. He also defended four passes and assisted on a sack.

Ernest Jones IV – Inside linebacker, Seattle Seahawks

Jones missed Sunday’s game with a knee injury. He is day-to-day and hopeful to return in Week 11.
