The South Carolina Gamecocks kick off against No. 7 Ole Miss on Saturday evening. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. and broadcasts live on ESPN.

Ole Miss enters Saturday’s contest returning home following a road win at No. 13 Oklahoma. The Rebels are 7-1, 4-1 in Southeastern Conference play. Meanwhile, South Carolina faces a likely must-win scenario on the road as the Gamecocks sit at 3-5, 1-5 in SEC play.

South Carolina is coming off a heartbreaking home loss to No. 4 Alabama, 29-22, and is entering a bye week following Saturday’s road trip to Oxford, M.S.

First Quarter

South Carolina: 7 Ole Miss: 0 [09:13]: South Carolina took a shot play on its opening play, but the ball from LaNorris Sellers fell through the hands of Nyck Harbor. Gamecocks punted after a quick three-and-out, however, the ball fell through the hands of returner Harrison Wallace III. After the Gamecocks recovery, South Carolina scored on an 4 play 16 yard drive.

South Carolina: 7 Ole Miss: 3 [03:58]: After another fourth down conversion set the Rebels inside the redzone, the Ole Miss drive stalled out inside the 10 yard line and the Rebels settled for a field goal.

South Carolina: 7 Ole Miss: 10 [01:28]: After turning South Carolina over on downs, Ole Miss quickly scored in two plays on two passes from Trinidad Chambliss.

Second Quarter

South Carolina: 7 Ole Miss: 17 [06:56]: Ole Miss forced a South Carolina punt after Sellers missed a wide open Vandrevius Jacobs for the second time. The Rebels then drove down the field, scoring on a 15-yard carry from Chambliss.

Third Quarter

South Carolina: 14 Ole Miss: 17 [11:30]: After surviving two potential turnovers, Sellers found Harbor open in the endzone for a 47-yard touchdown pass.

South Carolina: 14 Ole Miss: 20 [05:46]: After recovering a muffed punt at the SC 13, Ole Miss had to still settle for a field goal. The Rebels only gained three yards on the drive.

Fourth Quarter

South Carolina: 14 Ole Miss: 23 [12:01]: South Carolina holds Ole Miss to a field goal after allowing the Rebels offense to drive down to the redzone.

South Carolina: 14 Ole Miss: 29 [05:44]: After turning South Carolina over on downs, Ole Miss scores back-breaking touchdown on a 54-yard carry from Kewan Lacy.

Injury Report

Dylan Stewart is a game-time decision, according to the final SEC availability report released 90 minutes before kickoff. The edge rusher has seen time on the field since kickoff.
