Utility man Jake Randolph has committed to South Carolina, he announced on social media.

“I am extremely blessed and thankful to announce that I will be continuing my athletic career at the University of South Carolina,” Randolph posted on his Instagram. “I’d like to thank my family and all of the coaches that have helped me along the way. Go Cocks!”

Randolph spent three seasons at Presbyterian, where he hit .299/.375/.389 with five homers and 62 RBI in 106 career games. While he hasn’t hit for much power at the college level, he’s coming off his best season in 2025, where he batted .329 with 57 hits, two homers and 32 RBI in 173 at-bats.

The Vero Beach, FL native has played multiple positions, including catcher and outfield. He caught five games and played in the outfield for 17 games this past season.
