Former 4-star offensive lineman Kam Pringle leaving South Carolina in transfer portal

South Carolina offensive lineman Kam Pringle will enter the transfer portal, GamecockCentral has confirmed. The big fella just finished his second spring with the program but missed some time with an injury.
Pringle arrived in Columbia last offseason with high expectations as a 4-star prospect. However, multiple injuries and a crowded depth chart ahead of him muddied the waters. At 6-8 and 336 pounds, Pringle is one of the biggest players in the country. His size will make him an attractive transfer portal option for other programs.
Pringle saw action in just one game last season as a true freshman, a blowout against Akron. Following the redshirt, he will have four seasons left to play at his next stop.
Earlier this spring, EDGE Wendell Gregory and defensive back Emory Floyd entered the portal, as well.
