Updated: South Carolina 2022 draft class who have signed with NFL teams
It’s been two weeks since the NFL Draft but yet more South Carolina Gamecocks have since signed with NFL teams.
Defensive end Kingsley Enagbare (Green Bay), running back Kevin Harris (New England), and tight end Nick Muse (Minnesota) were the three Gamecocks who were drafted this year, marking the fourth straight year that USC has had at least three USC players selected in a draft.
Defensive tackle Jabari Ellis (NYG) and running back ZaQuandre White (Miami) were signed as undrafted free agents shortly after the draft concluded. This past weekend, Carlins Platel was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Pittsburgh Steelers, bringing a total of six Gamecocks from this year’s draft class that have been signed by NFL teams.
Kicker Parker White remains a free agent after participating in two rookie mini camps with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Safety Jaylan Foster took part in mini-camp with both the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Philadelphia Eagles the weekend of May 6. Gamecock teammate, linebacker Damani Staley also received a minp-camp invite by the Eagles as well as a tryout for mini-camp with the Pittsburgh Steeles this past weekend. Both players remain free agents.
As noted in the Platel story above, the defensive back attended mini-camp with the Eagles. Platel told Gamecock Central it’s there that he impressed a scout from the Steelers that earned him an invite to their mini-camp, which took place this past weekend, which led to him signing with the black and yellow.

– Kingsley Enagbare (DE) – Green Bay Packers: 5th RD, 179th overall pick
– Kevin Harris (RB) – New England Patriots: 6th RD, 183rd overall pick
– Nick Muse (TE) – Minnesota Vikings: 7th RD, 227th overall pick
– Jabari Ellis (DT) – New York Giants: UDFA
– ZaQuandre White (RB) – Miami Dolphins: UDFA
– Carlins Platel (DB) – Pittsburgh Steelers: UDFA
