South Carolina signed a pretty good transfer portal haul, but that doesn’t take away from the Gamecocks’ high school class at all.

The Gamecocks will bring in three high school seniors over the summer, including one top 115 player who continues to rise in the rankings.

Collin Murray-Boyles checked in as the No. 111 overall high school senior in On3’s final major rankings update for the 2023 class.

On3 considers him the No. 20 power forward in the class and a four-star prospect. He’s the second-best prospect for his class in Utah as well.

Murray-Boyles checks in as the No. 102 player in the On3 Industry rankings and a top 15 player at his position. All four of the major recruiting services have him inside the top 125 and a four-star prospect.

He’s considered a 90 overall in the On3 rankings and given a 92.5 overall grade in the Industry Ranking.

Murray-Boyles is coming off a dominant season in the NIBC for Wasatch Academy, a year that saw him early all-conference honors in arguably the best high school league in the country.

The 6-foot-7 forward finished third in the league in scoring averaging 15.4 points per game while leading the NIBC in rebounding. He averaged 8.8 boards per game, 6.1 of those defensive rebounds.

He also had the league’s best field goal percentage (69.5 percent) and averaged 2.1 assists and had the fourth-most blocks per game (1.8).

South Carolina also signed Arden Conyers in this 2023 class, although he’s not inside the On3 top 150. Conyers ranks as the No. 265 player in the Industry Rankings and the fourth-best player in the state of South Carolina.

Conyers, who plays locally at Westwood High School, is known for his three-point shooting more than anything. On3 gave him an 86 overall grade with Conyers sitting at 84.8 in the Industry Rankings.

The Gamecocks also signed Morris Ugusuk out of Omnia Basketball Academy in Finland, signing him a few weeks ago and getting him to reclassify up to the 2023 class.

On3 is the only major recruiting network to rank him, putting him as a three-star prospect and the No. 25 combo guard in the class. On3 gave him an 86 overall grade.

The Gamecocks also have a four-man transfer class currently that includes Stephen Clark (The Citadel), Ta’Lon Cooper (Minnesota), BJ Mack (Wofford) and Myles Stute (Vanderbilt).
