Breaking down the Kentucky Wildcats with Jesse Simonton
Tennessee and Kentucky are set to square off for the 118th time in the longstanding border bowl, but Saturday’s matchup is poised to be just the third meeting ever with both Tennessee and Kentucky ranked inside the AP Top-25.
The Vols have dominated the series with an 82-29-9 and won 26-straight from 1985-2010. Kentucky, who has picked up wins in 2011, 2017 and 2020 since, won in Knoxville the last time these two squads met – snapping a streak of 17 losses at Neyland Stadium.
