Now that the 2024 regular season has come and gone, it’s time to take a look at which Tennessee true freshmen qualify for a redshirt.

In order to be granted a redshirt, players must not have appeared in more than four games. Any postseason games, including conference championships, the college football playoffs and bowl games, do not count towards a redshirt.

Of the 20 freshmen on scholarship from the Class of 2024, 14 are eligible for a redshirt. Here is a list of those Tennessee players, broken down into position groups on both offense and defense. Six additional true freshmen played in more than four games, thus are not eligible for a redshirt.
