Tennessee players react to Georgia loss
Tennessee dropped their second straight game as the fell at home to Georgia on Saturday afternoon. Things looked early as Jaylen Wright went 75 yards for a touchdown on the first play of the game, running over the right side of the line of scrimmage. The play nearly matched the 83 yards rushing the Vols had last week at Missouri. After that it was all Bulldogs as they had their way against a depleted and injured Vols team.
Georgia’s took the lead for the rest of the game on their second drive when wide receiver Dillon Bellthrew an 18-yard touchdown to Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint on a trick play. Beck took the snap, pitched to Bell out of the backfield and Bell threw to a wide open Rosemy-Jacksaint who was all alone in the end zone.
Carson Beck threw an 8-yard touchdown to Rosemy-Jacksaint to build the lead to three touchdowns after a six-play, 70-yard drive. Beck with the pass went to 20-for-25 with 245 yards and three touchdowns, with Rosemy-Saintjack scoring twice on his six receptions covering 90 yards. He also found Bell and Brock Bowers, who caught a 3-yard touchdown pass from Beck to give Georgia a touchdown on three straight drives in the second quarter.

Tennessee simply couldn’t get off the field on third down enough as the theme of the Vol losses continued on Saturday evening.
Tennessee will finish the regular season next week against Vanderbilt at home on senior day. Before that, quarterback Joe Milton, Running back Jaylen Wright, linebacker Aaron Beasley and wide receiver Squirrel White answered questions from the media in postgame.
