It’s game day for No. 8 Tennessee, as the Vols look to bounce back from the loss at Arkansas while hosting Florida inside a sold-out, Checker Board Neyland Stadium Saturday night in Knoxville. The game is scheduled for a 7 Eastern Time start and can be seen on ESPN.
Tennessee (4-1, 1-1 SEC) got off to an undefeated start through four games, but was upset 19-14 last week by Arkansas. Florida (3-2, 1-1) has won two straight after a 1-2 start winning 45-28 at Mississippi State on September 21 and beating Central Florida 24-13 last week at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville.
The Gators lost 33-20 at home to Texas A&M on September 14 and opened the season with a 41-17 home loss to Miami on August 31. Florida beat Samford 45-7 at home in Week 2.

Florida holds a 32-21 advantage in the all-time series against Tennessee, which dates back to 1916. The Gators won 29-16 in Gainesville last season, after the Vols won 38-33 in Knoxville in 2022.
The win at Neyland two years ago snapped a five-year losing streak to Florida. Tennessee won 38-28 in Knoxville in 2016, snapping another run of 11 straight losses in the series. The Vols won three of four between 2001 and 2004, including wins in Gainesville in 2001 and 2023, and won 20-17 in overtime in 1998 on the way to a 13-0 season and the BCS national championship.
