2-Minute Drill: Tennessee seeks strong finish with Vanderbilt Week
Tennessee football is back to the practice field with hopes of concluding the regular season on a high note with in-state foe Vanderbilt this weekend.
The Vols (7-4, 3-4 SEC) are coming off a pair of lopsided losses at Missouri and at home to No. 1 Georgia the past two weeks. Vanderbilt (2-9, 0-7 SEC) won its first two ballgames over Hawai’i and Alabama A&M but have dropped nine-straight since the hot-start.
Saturday will also serve as Senor Day for a big group of seniors at Tennessee.
“Some really special guys been through some uncertainty during the course of the program who chose to stay,” the head coach said of his seniors. “When I arrived, a lot of these guys and had been instrumental in helping turn the culture and turn our program around. It’s a special group, how they performed, but also just who they are as people. Really proud of them.”
Brent Hubbs and Austin Price breakdown a Monday on Rocky Top as Tennessee now sets its sites on Vanderbilt. All this on the exterior Home Solutions 2-Minute Drill.
