Texas A&M adds an elite playmaker to their 2023 class. Four-star Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington athlete Micah Tease made a signing day commitment to the Aggies.

Tease was committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks since July 4th, but opened up his recruitment just two days ago, following his Texas A&M visit. Tease, a two-way position player, excels at the wide receiver and cornerback positions.

Tease held offers from USC, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, Florida, Michigan, among numerous others.

In 33 games at Booker T., Tease accumulated 2,071 all purpose offensive yards, 1,900 of which came at the receiver position. He finished his career with 24 total touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the ball, Tease finished with 51 total tackles, nine tackles for loss, and four interceptions.

Following his decommitment from Arkansas, Texas A&M emerged as the major favorite in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). The RPM gave the Aggies a 76.3 percent chance of adding him to their 2023 class.

Tease is the No. 187 overall prospect and No. 6 athlete in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 3 player in Oklahoma.

Tease has an On3 NIL Valuation of $20K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Micah Tease On3 Scouting Summary

The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Micah Tease:

“Two-way star at wide receiver and defensive back who likely projects on defensive long-term. Productive player for Tulsa powerhouse Booker T. Washington. Had 31 receptions for 618 yards and 9 touchdowns as a junior as well as 3 interceptions on defense. Constantly in-phase and is sticky in coverage. A willing tackler who is not afraid to come downhill.

Smooth and twitchy with solid long speed. Ran a 11.05 second 100 meter time during his junior track season as well as a 23.07 time int he 200 meters as a sophomore. Ball skills are adequate as a wide receiver, but project better towards cornerback. Will only get better as he focuses on one side of the ball.”
