4-star running back Cedric Baxter on Texas, Steve Sarkisian, Tashard Choice

2023 Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater RB Cedric Baxter is one of several running backs Steve Sarkisian, Tashard Choice, and the Texas football program are pursuing. The Longhorns offered Baxter in June and became one of the 51 schools who are in the race for his services. The one-time Florida State commit is familiar with both the Forty Acres after a visit last summer, and with Choice from his time at Georgia Tech.
