We all love college football, but much like a good whiskey, sugary candy, or priapism, our Saturdays are suffering from too much of a good thing. The average college football game now lasts 3.5 hours. Beyond that mean average, overtime and close end of game scenarios between high scoring passing offenses means that college football games have the potential to extend into 4 and even 4.5 hour monstrosities.
