Whenever two Texas commits get together on the field, it’s worth watching. That’s why Aldine Eisenhower vs. Spring Dekaney is this week’s Inside Texas high school game of the week.

Jonah Wilson and the Dekaney Wildcats (1-2) host Ryan Niblett and the Aldine Eisenhower Eagles (0-3) at Leonard George Stadium in Spring on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Inside Texas’ Gerry Hamilton will be on hand to view the matchup between the two members of Texas’ 2023 class.

Both Wilson and Niblett are rated as four-stars in the 2023 On3 Consensus rankings and the 2023 On300. The only other player in Thursday’s contest ranked either in the Consensus or by On3 is 2025 Eisenhower defensive back Joseph Albright, who was recently named to the On3 2025 Football Prospect Watch List.

Niblett committed to Texas following the Longhorns’ spring game on April 23. He is ranked as the No. 72 overall prospect, the No. 13 receiver, and No. 14 prospect in Texas according to the On3 Consensus. On3 ranks Niblett as the No. 91 overall prospect, the No. 15 receiver, and the No. 14 prospect in Texas.

Wilson committed to Texas in June in the wake of Arch Manning’s commitment. He is ranked as the No. 249 overall prospect, the No. 33 wide receiver, and the No. 44 prospect in Texas according to the On3 Consensus. In On3’s rankings, Wilson is the No. 162 overall prospect, the No. 24 wide receiver, and the No. 34 prospect in Texas.

After falling during a Week 1 contest against out-of-state power Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco, the Allen Eagles recovered to top 2023 Texas commit Dylan Spencer by a score of 49-14.

Week 3: Lucas Lovejoy vs. Fort Worth North Crowley

Texas commit S’Maje Burrell and the Panther defense survived a 14-point third-quarter surge from the Leopards to win the first North Crowley game at CISD’s brand-new stadium.

Week 4: Arlington Martin vs. Temple

The Warriors scored early and often on the road against the Wildcats, utilizing their unique special teams schemes to catch Temple off guard. Texas target Javien Toviano also had a pick-six in coverage against Mikal Harrison-Pilot on the way to a 53-18 win.
