Texas was well-represented on day one of the 2023 NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Ind. by Keondre Coburn, Moro Ojomo, and DeMarvion Overshown. Now on the final day of the most important job interview a football player can ever go through, the Longhorns will watch former star running backs Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson go through drills, testing, and more on the NFL Network.

Coverage on NFL Network begins at 12 p.m. Central. Along with running backs, offensive linemen are working out today.

Robinson may be the most talked-about player in the 2023 NFL Draft who isn’t a quarterback or a pass-rusher. His extraordinary ability has him in the conversation to be a top 10-15 pick, an achievement in its own right considering how NFL front offices value the running back position.

In a bit of a surprise, Robinson has announced he plans to run the 40-yard dash at the combine, which could answer any remaining questions a franchise could have about his ability. Few other unknowns exist about the 2022 Doak Walker Award winner and the unanimous All-American.

Texas has gone since the 2006 draft without an offensive player selected in the first round, and Robinson is likely to end that drought.

Johnson heads to Indianapolis looking to prove plenty after injuring his hand during the Reese’s Senior Bowl just over a month ago. Long the 1B running back to a collection of 1A rushers, namely Robinson, Johnson can show teams he can be a factor not just on offense carrying the ball, but also receiving out of the backfield and even on special teams.
