In this episode, Bobby and Paul discuss…

On3 ranked Xavier Worthy as the No. 21 player, Kelvin Banks checked in at No. 51, Quinn Ewers was assigned the No. 75 position, and AD Mitchell earned the No. 86 ranking. The two mention that it’s part of a need to create some discussion in the offseason but also note that it’s a show of the uptick in talent on the Longhorn football team.

Paul mentions that the lone “inarguable” player on this list is Kelvin Banks in light of his awesome play, while the others are working more from a position of merit and projection.

“If you want to make the best list possible, you have to engage in a little imagination of what the player could be in the construct of their team,” Wadlington said.

Bobby believed there were at least two snubs. Wadlington mentioned Jaylan Ford, while Bobby said Ja’Tavion Sanders was incorrectly left off the list. They reason that Brock Bowers’ inclusion and stranglehold on the top TE spot may be why Sanders was left off.

Bobby wonders if Jalen Catalon should have deserved mention because of the projection, but the injury history is too much for them to think it should be overcome.

Several players on UT’s schedule made the list, including…

The two then dive into Pro Football Focus rankings of players on offense and defense. Five Longhorns made the list, but Ewers was not included. Byron Murphy was one of the additions.

The two get into a few more topics about rankings and more in an exciting video.
