In this episode, Justin and Bobby discuss:

  1. Justin and Bobby begin the freshman breakdown tackling the quarterback position, one of the best rooms in all of college football. New Orleans (Texas) Isidore Newman five-star Arch Manning didn’t surprise Justin or Bobby, with both noticing a lot of strong play in his first semester in college. Justin felt he was about where he was supposed to be, development wise, while Bobby felt he slightly exceeded where he expected the nation’s top-rated prospect from the 2023 class.
  2. Justin and Bobby hit running back with five-star CJ Baxter and incoming Desoto four-star Tre Wisner. Justin felt like Baxter was a little better than expected and showed flashes during the Orange-White scrimmage. Bobby sees Baxter as about where he expected the Sunshine State native post-Spring ball.
  3. Justin and Bobby see big things at wideout with Johntay Cook and Deandre Moore. Both enrolled early, both made an impact this spring, and both made plays during the Spring game. For Justin, Cook is exactly where he thought he’d be and pleasantly surprised with Moore’s development. Bobby agreed on both, stating you’ll see the freshmen duo quite a lot this fall. The other receiver take, Ryan Niblett, will arrive in June.
  4. Justin and Bobby finish with the four offensive linemen that arrived in Austin in January; Jaydon Chatman, Andre Cojoe, Connor Stroh, and Payton Kirkland. Justin felt as if Chatman and Stroh met expectations, while Kirkland surpassed them, and Cojoe was a little behind in the development category. Bobby was similar with Chatman and Stroh, believed Kirkland surpassed his expectations, and agreed that Cojoe, the youngest of the group, was still needing more development.
