  1. Justin and Joe begin with 10 questions heading into the summer and 2023 season for Texas. From the best player on the roster, including Kelvin Banks and Jahdae Barron, the expected backup quarterback this fall in Maalik Murphy over Arch Manning, Dillon Mitchell’s return to the basketball team opening up his offensive game, to UT’s best wide receiver being Xavier Worthy.
  2. Justin and Joe discuss who wins the Texas-Alabama rematch in Week 2 in Tuscaloosa. Justin thinks after Alabama’s close win in Austin in 2022, he feels like the Horns have the advantage. Joe reminds us that playing a night game in Bryant-Denny Stadium is a tall task. Next question is will the Horns be favored to win the Big 12 in 2023? Justin says its so, where the have the conference’s best roster, and Joe sees Kansas State and Texas Tech as UT’s top competition.
  3. Justin and Joe finish with the most important position on the Texas roster, not counting quarterback. Next up is Justin and Joe’s all-time favorite Longhorn. Justin picks Earl Campbell, Michael Huff, and Kris Boyd, of course, while Joe mentions Bijan Robinson making the job fun covering the dynamic Arizona-bred tailback. Where does Quinn Ewers get drafted in 2024? Justin says the first round, after Caleb Williams and Drake Maye, whereas Joe could see the second round, Will Levis style.
