Texas announces 2018 Football schedule

The announcement completes Texas’ 2018 slate, as the three non-conference games were previously released. The conference slate begins at home for the first time since 2015 when the Longhorns host TCU on Sept. 22 at Darrell K Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium. Texas also hosts Baylor (Oct. 13), West Virginia (Nov. 3) and Iowa State (Nov. 17) in Big 12 play at home. The Longhorns start the road portion of the Big 12 schedule on Sept. 29 at Kansas State. They will also travel to Oklahoma State (Oct. 27), Texas Tech (Nov. 10) and Kansas (Nov. 23). The AT&T Red River Showdown at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas against Oklahoma is set for Oct. 6. Texas is scheduled to begin their season on Sept. 1 on the road against Maryland. That game will be played at FedEx Field, home of the Washington Redskins, in Landover, Md.
