Texas debuts at No. 68 in the NET Rankings

As the college basketball world wakes up after Feast Week, they’ll awake to the NCAA’s initial NET rankings. The Longhorns are No. 68 in the “primary sorting tool for Division I men’s basketball” in the race for a spot in the NCAA Tournament.

Here’s how NET works, per the NCAA.

The NET includes more components than just winning percentage. It takes into account game results, strength of schedule, game location, net offensive and defensive efficiency, and the quality of wins and losses.
