Texas expanding the national footprint under Sarkisian
The Texas Longhorns are expanding the national recruiting footprint under Steve Sarkisian ahead of the move to the SEC.

Sarkisian and staff have signed 18 players from out of state in the last two top 5 classes. The states represented are Louisiana, California, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, New Jersey, Utah, Hawaii, Arizona and Washington.
The 2024 cycle is a much more expanded national recruiting effort by the staff. Texas has already made offers to prospects from 20 different states with 25 offers alone made in the state of Georgia. The out of state offer list expanded by 23 in the months of January after the staff made more junior season evaluations.
