Texas extended an offer on Tuesday afternoon to 2025 Elba, Alabama running back Alvin Henderson. In addition to his offer from Texas, Henderson has received offers from Notre Dame, Georgia, and Ole Miss among others.

Henderson is the 7th offer that the Longhorns have sent out in the class of 2025 along with Duncanville (Texas) WR Dakorien Moore, three prospects from the state of Georgia, one from Florida, and one from California.

The 5-foot-11 running back helped lead the Elba Tigers to a 10-2 record and second round playoff appearance in the Alabama 2A playoffs, Henderson initially starting on the freshman team and working his way up to the varsity level by the end of the year.

In the 2022 cycle, Texas signed one player from the state of Alabama in Hewitt-Trussville four-star EDGE Justice Finkley and have offered seven prospects from the Yellowhammer state in the 2023 class including On3 Consensus No. 28 A.J. Harris.

Texas has one verbal commitment in the 2023 cycle in Arlington (Texas) Seguin four-star cornerback Jamel Johnson. Johnson is the No. 180 prospect in the country according to the On3 Consensus and has an On3 NIL Valuation of $10,900.

The Longhorns have two 2024 commits in Aledo (Texas) cornerback Jaden Allen, the younger brother of 2022 signee and four-star safety Bryan Allen Jr and Daingerfield (Texas) ATH Aeryn Hampton. Hampton has an On3 NIL Valuation of $38,000. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

At 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, Alvin Henderson is currently unranked according to the On3 consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Henderson also has no On3 NIL Valuation.
