Jilek is ranked as the No. 1414 overall prospect, the No. 88 tight end, and the No. 25 player in Michigan in the Rivals Industry Ranking. Rivals ranks him as the No. 96 tight end and the No. 25 player in Michigan.
Jilek committed to Minnesota on October 1, flipping from a previous pledge to Central Florida.
Rivals lists him at 6-foot-5, 240 pounds. He has film playing off-ball linebacker.
Texas once had a silent commitment from California 3-star Keawe Browne earlier in the cycle, but he stepped back and never went public with that commitment over the summer. Browne since committed to Boise State.
