Chris Beard has added another talented transfer to the Texas program.
On Friday, 6-foot-7 ultra athletic power forward Christian Bishop committed to Texas over Kansas and North Carolina.
Bishop was a starter for the Jays over the past two seasons, averaging just over 20 minutes per game. The forward out of Lee’s Summit, Mo. averaged 11 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in 2020-21, hitting 68 percent of his shots.
He joins Devin Askew (Kentucky) and Timmy Allen (Utah) as transfers joining the Texas roster for the 2021-22 season.
