Texas vs. UTSA Football Preview

UTSA began playing football in 2012. Before head coach Jeff Traylor arrived on campus, they boasted a 47-55 record and no conference titles. In just over two short years, Traylor has led the Roadrunners to a Conference USA championship and a 20-8 overall record. The charismatic down-to-earth head coach is an East Texas legend at Gilmer, where he led the Buckeye program to three state titles and five title game appearances in 15 years. He had an impactful stint at Texas during the Strong era and his former players and many Longhorn fans have great fondness for him.
