One of the biggest splashes in the 2027 recruiting cycle occurred on November 29, 2025 when New Orleans (La.) Brother Martin wide receiver Easton Royal committed to Texas. Royal, ranked as Rivals' No. 1 wide receiver in the 2027 class, chose the Longhorns over a number of regional and national powers.
