Where Texas commits, targets rank in the newest 2024 On300

On3 updated the 2024 On300 on Monday, and several Texas Longhorns commits and targets made moves in the prospect rankings.

Commit Hunter Moddon dropped from No. 94 to No. 120 as his position designation was switched from ATH to CB. He previously had a 93 grade as a prospect, but he now sits with a 92. He’s ranked as the No. 14 cornerback and the No. 26 prospect in Texas in the latest On300.

Fellow commit Trey Owens remains outside of the On300. He is ranked by On3 as the No. 28 quarterback in the country and the No. 90 prospect in Texas. The On3 Industry Ranking labels Owens as the No. 459 overall prospect, the No. 24 QB, and the No. 77 prospect in Texas.

Targets in the top 10 of the updated rankings include Five-Star Plus+ prospects Colin Simmons and Micah Hudson. Top 50 prospects the Longhorns are in pursuit of include No. 16 Terry Bussey, No. 25 Justin Williams, No. 26 Bryant Wesco, No. 28 Wardell Mack (who visited Texas for the Orange-White Game), No. 30 Brandon Baker, No. 38 Joseph Jonah-Ajonye, No. 43 Jerrick Gibson, No. 47 Taylor Tatum, and No. 49 Eddrick Houston.

Other prospects of note include No. 51 Kobe Black, No. 67 Corian Gipson, No. 69 Selman Bridges, No. 81 Kedren Young, No. 95 Caden Durham, and No. 96 Gekyle Baker.

Outside the top 100, the Longhorns are involved with No. 121 Nyier Daniels, No. 145 Aeryn Hampton, No. 148 Michael Uini, No. 150 Daniel Cruz, No. 170 Freddie Dubose Jr., and No. 192 Zina Umeozulu.
