USC extended an offer to elite 2025 cornerback and current Michigan commit Chris Ewald Jr. back in January. The Trojans will now get a chance to make an in-person impression as Ewald has announced he will visit in June.

Ewald went to Twitter to announce a series of unofficial visits, with USC coming on June 14.

His visits will be Miami (June 1), Tennessee (June 2), Florida State (June 8), USC (June 14), and Michigan (June 22).

Ewald is the No. 91 overall prospect and No. 8 cornerback in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 18 player in Florida.

The 5-foot-11, 161-pound Michigan commits holds 23 total offers. Prior to committing to Michigan in December, Ewald was actually favored to commit to Miami, although Michigan was in second place prior to his pledge.

RPM was released to the public in December 2021. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

On3 NIL Valuation

Ewald has an On3 NIL Valuation of $76K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

USC’s 2025 class

USC holds one commitment in the 2025 class in Oxford (Ala.) Thompson four-star safety Anquon Fegans.

Fegans is the No. 17 overall prospect and No. 2 safety in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also ranked as the No. 4 player in Alabama.

USC is not officially ranked in the 2025 Industry Ranking Football Team Recruiting Rankings due to lack of commitments, but already has the third highest recruiting score with just Fegans in the class. The Trojans are behind only Georgia and Alabama.

USC currently sits at No. 1 in the 2025 class in average prospect rating with an average of 95.01. Coming in at second place is Ohio State with an average rating of 94.05.
