4-star OL Makai Saina sets official visit to USC
It was something that was previously talked but is now finally confirmed and that is that 2024 Arlington (Tex.) Martin offensive lineman Makai Saina will take an official visit to USC.
Saina went to Twitter to report he will be in Los Angeles for his official visit on June 16. That will be the same weekend the Trojans host over 15 official visitors.
Saina is the No. 395 overall prospect and No. 26 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 66 player in Texas.
Saina is also scheduled to take official visits to Texas A&M (June 2) and Texas (June 23).
Saina made his way to Los Angeles last weekend and visited USC for the April 15 Spring Game.
Top 10 Schools
Earlier this year, Saina released a Top 10. USC made the cut along with Georgia, LSU, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M and Michigan.
Projected Position in College
While Saina starts at tackle at the high school level, he best projects as an interior offensive lineman in college.
“A lot of people say I’m going to be a guard in college,” Saina told On3 Michigan expert EJ Holland. “Right now, I play tackle. I can play some center, too. I don’t really mind. I can play anywhere.”
Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM)
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound offensive lineman holds 28 total offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Texas A&M currently holds a lead at 32.3% to land a commitment from Saina. Texas and USC trail behind.

The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
