Caleb Williams Hits the Runway for Hugo Boss
USC quarterback Caleb Williams proved last fall he could run, jump, spin, sprint, twist, throw, evade, toss, high-step and do just about every other athletic move imaginable on his way to winning the Heisman Trophy. On Wednesday night, Williams proved he could walk. Or maybe more accurately, strut.
Williams was one of several A-list celebrities to feature in the Hugo Boss Spring/Summer 2023 Miami Fashion Show this week. He continues to successfully bridge the gap between sports and mainstream pop culture as college football’s most marketable star.
Williams appeared in the show alongside Naomi Campbell, Pamela Anderson, Law Roach, Khaby Lame, DJ Khaled, Alica Schmidt, Yusra Mardini, Precious Lee, Ibtihaj Muhammad and Ezra Frech.
According to Hugo Boss, among the more than 500 invited guests to the show included Maluma, Demi Lovato, Bella Thorne, Maisa Silva, Charles Melton, Suki Waterhouse, Lucien Laviscount, Rapman, Stefflon Don and Tiffany Haddish. Additional VIP guests included Kano, Jelly Lin, Camila Morrone, Brianne Howey, Felix Mallard, Gavin Casalegno, Sasha Calle, Christine Quinn, Kim Hyun-ah, and Hwang In-Yeop.

Expectations will be through the roof for Williams this fall. And he hasn’t shied away from any of them. He openly discusses his deep desire to take his Trojans to the College Football Playoff this fall and play for a national championship. He also doesn’t hide his desire to be back in New York this December once again at the Heisman ceremony.
Last offseason Williams discussed wanting to help turn the USC football program around. He certainly walked the walk in that regard, helping the Trojans to an 11-win season and New Year’s Six bowl game.
His off-field exploits when it comes to brand building and NIL partnerships have been notable. It might lead some to question his focus and ability to lead this USC football team. But he has a remarkable ability to focus on the field and separate the benefits he gets from being the USC quarterback and reigning Heiman winner, with the need to serve as an inspirational and physical leader for his team.
