There weren't many highlights featuring the USC defense last season. But a few flickers of light did occasionally make an appearance. One of those was true freshman defensive back Calen Bullock. He played in all 12 games and started six times at free safety, nickel and cornerback for the Trojans in 2021. Bullock finished the year on multiple Freshman All-America teams after posting 39 tackles, two interceptions and three pass deflections. But a different Calen Bullock is set to take the field for the Trojans this season. A better Calen Bullock. And that's a very good thing for the USC secondary.
