Game Time, Channel Set for USC - Notre Dame

The game time has been set for the 94th edition of the greatest intersectional rivalry in college football. USC will make the trip to South Bend, Indiana this season for a game against Notre Dame that will kick off at 7:30 pm ET (4:30 pm PT). It will air on NBC and Peacock.
This is the first game time set for USC’s 2023 schedule. There’s no surprise it would be a night game between what will likely be two highly-ranked teams.
Night games at Notre Dame Stadium between these two teams have become common over the past decade or so. But it wasn’t always that way. In 2011, Notre Dame hosted USC for the first home night game of any kind in 21 years. To that point, there had only been seven night games, in total, played at Notre Dame Stadium.
Since then, every USC – Notre Dame game in South Bend has been under the lights.
That 2011 edition resulted in a big USC win, 31-17. But the Trojans are 0-5 out there since then. And the losses have come in all shapes and sizes. There was the lopsided 49-14 loss in 2017 and the 31-16 defeat in 2021. The Trojans also lost by four in 2013 and by just three in 2019.
Prior to that 2013 loss, USC had its own five-game winning streak in South Bend, including the thrilling 2005 edition that featured 4th-and-9 and the Bush Push.
Notre Dame’s entire 2023 home schedule received game times on Wednesday. The Fighting Irish will take part in two of the most anticipated games of the year, against Ohio State and USC. Both received primetime, 7:30 pm PT slots.
USC – Notre Dame 2022

Williams completed 18-of-22 passes for 232 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 35 yards and three touchdowns.
