IMHO Sunday: Keeping the talent at home.
In my humble opinion, cardinal and gold thoughts on what I see, what I hear, and what I think from Los Angeles. Homeward Bound: One of the great challenges for new Trojans’ head coach Lincoln Riley is to keep all the Southern California talent at home – namely at USC. Not all the great players have left the area as illustrated by Trojans’ wide receiver Drake London, the 2021 Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year despite playing just seven and a half games due to a broken ankle. London, who on Wednesday announced he was heading for the NFL, came to Troy as a two-sport star out of Moorpark (Calif.) High and showed that his combination of football skills and basketball athleticism was at a freakish level along with a rare character drive and determination to be the best.
