In my humble opinion, cardinal and gold thoughts on what I see, what I hear, and what I think from Los Angeles: *When training camp opens on early Friday morning, all eyes will literally be on the sleepy eyes of the players whose first practice will commence at 7 a.m., and won’t that be an indication who went to bed early Thursday night in anticipation for an early morning practice? Ah, nothing like a 4:00 a.m. wake-up call. Better get the cardinal and gold barf buckets ready. And, BTW, get some of those buckets ready for the media, as well. *When training camp opens on Friday morning, all eyes will be on Trojans’ head coach Lincoln Riley to see if his demeanor on the first day of training camp differs from his spring practice demeanor, and BTW, how much attention time he pays to the defense.
